The 130 Watt Portable Solar Battery Charger is our highest output module and your best value per watt. At 7.39 amps it has the power to top off your deep cycle batteries. This module is perfect for those with higher electrical demands, such as running interior and exterior lights, the water pump and furnace, or using a small inverter to power lap tops or TV's. The 130 watt module is a terrific choice for any size camper, trailer, or RV providing you have the space to store it while traveling. This module is long and moderately heavy.
Our 130 watt portable system can even bring a good "dead" battery back to full charge in a few days.
Battery charging is fully automatic, so you don't have to worry about over or under charging your deep cycle batteries. As the battery nears full charge the charge controller mounted on the back of the module will go into pulse width modulation (PWM) mode until the battery has reached storage capacity, then the controller will continually float charge the battery. Once the controller senses that the battery needs charged, it will turn itself on and run thru the process all over again.
Track the Sun!
![]()
A major advantage that our portable systems have over a
hard wired system is that you can track the sun optimizing the
modules output. As the sun moves
from east to west the panel can be repositioned to follow the sun
yielding optimum module performance.
Our Portable Photovoltaic Modules are
easy to use:
Our portable solar panels are virtually bullet proof, and very easy to use. Simply
connect the red clip to the positive (+) battery terminal and
connect the black clip to the (-) negative battery terminal, then
point the solar panel towards the sun. That's it! They're also
100% weather proof.
If you leave your camp unattended we recommend purchasing a cable lock to secure your module to prevent theft.
Don't see what you want? We can custom design and build a portable system for you. Solar systems, solar controllers, batteries and inverter configuration options are virtually endless.
