RV Solar Connection
Installing Custom RV Solar Systems on Recreational Vehicles in the Denver metro area
Below we have developed four sample solar systems from basic battery charging/maintaining to systems providing whole house 110 volt power. The sample systems are available for installation as is, or they can be customized to better meet your needs. For example the MorningStar charge controller shown with the 85Watt Battery Maintainer system can be upgraded to a Specialty Concepts controller at additional cost, or the inverter can be removed from the 260 or the 520 reducing your cost.
Any of the sample systems listed below, or individual components can be sold as a kit for the do it yourselfer. We also offer several portable solar battery charging systems.
Due to the nature of the solar industry were are not able to list exact prices for the sample systems as photovoltaic solar panel pricing changes often. Prices shown are very close approximate. We will quote an exact price before you commit to an order. Our base of operation is in unincorporated Jefferson County which has No City Sales Taxes. Our total sales tax rate is only 4.6%. 3% lower than sales taxes in Wheat Ridge.
RV Solar Connection only offers solar panels, charge controllers and inverters that are approved for recreational vehicle use. Other sites offering RV kits may be promoting solar panels who's warranty is void if the panel is installed on an RV or boat. For example read exclusion B on page two of this panels warranty.

A Generator Free Class A that Never Runs out of Power!
We installed the pictured Mitsubishi 110 Watt Battery Maintainer System on this older class A motor home during spring of 2007.

The owner of this rig spends most of the summer dry camping at his
favorite fishing lake. Being retired his fishing trips are quite
lengthily, averaging 10 days or more. In the past Fred had to run his generator
nightly to
keep his batteries up.
After installing the single 110 watt solar panel it didn't take Fred very long to realize that he no longer had to
run his generator, nor his coach motor to keep his batteries at full
charge.
Fred has repeatedly thanked us for giving him the ability to dry camp
for weeks at time, and watch two movies a night, without ever having to worry about his batteries
again.
