RV Solar Connection
Installing Custom RV Solar Systems on Recreational Vehicles in the Denver metro area
RV Solar Connection features solar panels (photovoltaic modules) from Kyocera. Kyocera modules are a reliable, virtually a maintenance free power supply designed to convert sunlight into electricity at the highest possible efficiency. Kyocera solar modules are ideal for charging deep-cycle storage batteries in recreational vehicles and boats.
Kyocera is one of the few solar module manufacturers that does not exclude installation on a recreational vehicle or boat from warranty coverage.
We can install your new solar system at your metro Denver home, your storage facility, or at our small shop in Westminster. Since our base of operation is in unincorporated Jefferson County we are not obligated to collect and city sales taxes for installations that take place at our shop.

Pictured is a 110 Watt Mitsubishi Solar Panel added to an existing smaller panel which gave this 5th wheel over 160 watts of solar power. Plenty of power for this owners weekend needs.
By utilizing several RV component manufacturers enables RV Solar Connection to custom build your RV Solar system designed to meet your specific needs. Weather it be an inexpensive battery maintaining system for a weekend warrior to a full blown top of the line solar charging system with sine inverter for the full time RVer.
Basically there are three types of Solar panels for use on Recreational vehicles. Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline, and Amorphous.
Monocrystalline solar panels are made from a single large silicon crystal. Monocrystalline panels are the most efficient yielding a higher charge output, and are claimed to produce more power in lower light conditions.
Polycrystalline solar panels are cast from blocks of silicon and contain several small solar crystals. Polycrystalline panels produce about 1% less power than Moncrystalline panels. The 1% power loss is negligible and really should not be a major consideration in selecting a solar panel. Polycrystalline panels are the most common type of solar panel.
Amorphous solar panels are
known as thin film panels. Silicon is spread on a large bed to
create the panel. Amorphous solar panels are inexpensive to
manufacture and yield the lowest power output of the three types
of panels. Inexpensive Amorphous panels function just fine, but
they require 3 times the roof space of Polycrystalline or
Monocrystalline panels for the same power yield.
RV Solar Connection does not offer Amorphous
or thin film solar panels.
Unlike the big box stores the experts at RV Solar Solutions will sit down with you to discuss your power generating needs before designing your RV's solar charging system. We do not offer or install "canned out of the box" systems.
From a simple battery maintaining system to a roof mounted array for whole house power, we can design and install a system to meet your electrical requirements.
